I bet you are not as deeply in debts as I do….;D Of course, I don’t feel proud of being in deep debt trouble *sigh* Share with you my journey to debt free life which may take up to 5 years to 10 years ? I hope it is not more than 10 years !! Once our credit card debts have snowballed to more than $60,000, my hubby and I felt What have we done to pay off our debts ? Well, step 1-2-3. Firstly, cut off some of the credit cards and just keep 1 or 2 cards. Next, we applied for 0% balance transfers to other credit card companies . We shopped around for the best balance transfer deals that offer up to nine months interest free cards.According to the quick balance transfer guide, use the 0% balance transfer cards only for balance transfers. Never use them on purchases ! I do pay heed to this sound advice. Besides balance transfers, we also took up a few personal loans which provide lower rates.Personal loans are also called unsecured loans in case you do not know. ..;D Well, being in debts has at least brought me a benefit, that is figuring out what secured loans,unsecured loans,debt consolidation, payday loans are and how to compare credit cards. Honestly,I never bothered to learn about these financial related matters and information before that. I have learnt to read more financial articles to fully grasp the advice and information. To pay off credit card debts fast, I have to take control of my financial status.
