I Am Loaded With Credit Card Debts, Loans, Personal Loans & Mortgage Loans Now August 31, 2007

My hubby and I are loaded with $55,846 credit card debts ! I know it’s going to take us years to settle the debts fully, but we are working hard to pay off the credit card debts fast.
When we found out that our credit card debts snowballed to $63,809 in April this year, we were petrified for a while …like you ! …;D We rolled our eyes wide after seeing the total debts we had while shaking our heads in disbelief.
Without much hesitation, we made up our minds that we must eliminate our credit card debts as fast as possible. We took up some balance transfers and personal loans which help save some interest charges. Loan repayments are always paid on time now as we don’t want any late payment charges.
We did our refinance 2 years ago even before we started our debt elimination program. The reason is that we did not do any rate comparisons when we bought our first house. There were so many mortgage loans available on the market and we were so inexperienced at that time. As a a result, we paid higher interest rate for our mortgage loan.
We also make sure that we exercise control on our spending habits and expenses if we want to pay off our credit card debts in less than 3 years.

Before my hubby and I made up our minds to pay our credit card debts fast, we always failed to make minimum payments on time.
Even when there were calls and warning notices from banks, we still didn’t bother at all. We thought that payments defaults were no big deal at all.
How wrong we were ! All the late payments did damage our credit reports little by little due to our ignorance. I think my hubby and I have very bad credit scores ..;D
After we decided to pay off our credit card debts fast, we browsed through hundreds of financial websites daily. Even now, we still spend at least 2 hours daily reading articles related to loans,credit cards, credit report repairs, mortgages, insurance and money saving tips to pick up more tips and ways to cut down our credit card debts.

As we increase our credit scores, we’ll qualify for lower interest rates. This means that we pay less to borrow the same amount, resulting in a savings to us.

In order to pay off our credit card debts fast and save some interest charges, we decided to borrow $4,000 from one of our close buddies. He was shocked that we have to pay 18% interest charges per annum.
He is a school teacher and a very thrifty guy. His eyes rolled wide when he found out that we are now loaded with $55,846 credit card debts. Without much hesitation, he suggested that he lend us $4,000. Free of interest !
But my hubby and I don’t want to take advantage of his kindness, so we will pay him 10% interest per annum. Aren’t we lucky to have a close buddy who is willing to lend us money to pay off our credit card debts fast ?
