Repair Bad Credit On Credit Score Report As Soon As Possible

I have been advised by like-minded buddies to go on making credit card payments on time. I must repair my bad credit score so that applying for new credit cards, loans, home loans or car loans will be easier in future.

I read that even though I fully settle my credit card debts, the settled accounts will still remain on my credit score report for some time before they are deleted. Therefore, I must need to repair bad credit as soon as possible.
