Debt Repayments & Bank Overdraft Interest Charges April 30, 2009
Posted by Vedis in : Banks / Banking Services , comments closedHubby and I went to bank in our debt repayments and bank overdraft interest charges yesterday.
If Google AdSense had not been late, we would have banked in the home mortgage and car loan as well.
Next Monday, we will have to go to bank again to collect Google AdSense earnings via Western Union.
After that, we will go shopping for some small Apricot trees or bamboo plants for our garden.
Shall Have Paid Off Credit Card Debt & Car Loan April 30, 2009

Time flies and May is here soon, about 13 hours from now.
I am thinking what I shall be doing or shall have done on May 1st after 5 years. First, I shall have paid off most or all of my credit card debt and car loan.
By then, I will need to pay mortgage loan only. No more credit card debt and car loan.
Will my emergency funds saved for 5 years be enough for me and hubby to go on one of the least expensive Orlando vacations?
Since My AKPK (DMP) Debt Management Program … April 30, 2009
Posted by Vedis in : Spending , comments closedYou know, the last time I enjoyed a meal at KFC was more than a year ago. Yesterday was the first time I had my meal at KFC since my debt management program.
It’s not because I was so poor that I couldn’t afford it. No. It’s just that I would rather eat something even cheaper than KFC to save money.
Now that I am seeing some spare cash in my savings account, I think I should take it easier when it comes to having a more expensive meal.

It’s great to hear that more and more people in credit card debt are turning to free debt management programs.
For your information, DMPs in my country is free. FREE Counseling. NO Enrollment Fee. No Monthly Fee.
I am grateful that I have some extra money to save as emergency funds at the end of the month, buy a piece of better (more expensive
) quality of jewelry as Mother’s Day gift or enjoy a more expensive meal at KFC or Kopitiam more often.
Just Throw Out The Money! April 23, 2009
Posted by Vedis in : Fun Stuff , comments closedI really don’t understand why my neighbor opposite me doesn’t send his son to a drug rehab center to save himself from any heartache.
Each time his son comes back to beg for a few dollars, my neighbor will scold his son before he throws out a few dollars.
The content of his scolding is the same; all the neighbors know the story.
Why doesn’t my neighbor just throw out the money? That’s it.
Why does he have to be angry at his drug addict son for half an hour before he throws out the money? Funny, right?
