Death Notices

While finding a pair of discount prescription glasses just now, my younger sister beeped me and told me that my elder sister’s mother-in-law had passed on.

No wonder it’s been so quiet from my elder sister’s part these few days. As I am not close to her mother-in-law at all, I don’t think I will attend the funeral which is two hours’ bus journey away.

Sigh! The older I am, the more death notices from friends/relatives and family members I receive.
