What A Tiring Morning! August 18, 2010

Just walked home from the wet market and food court. I am so dead tired now!!!

Let me recall. First, I went to a bank to withdraw some cash and update my passbooks.

Next, I walked to the wet market. Half way through, I saw from a far that the grocery store which I always frequented was close. So I turned back and went to the supermarket which was opposite the bank.

After buying some cookies and snacks, I walked back to the wet market. There I bought some cooking materials. To buy hubby’s lunch, I had to go to the food court which was next to the wet market.

While walking home from the food court, I stopped by at a coffee shop and bought a pack of iced coffee. Cool!

Out Of Budget? April 28, 2010

My sister and her family are coming to visit me and hubby this Saturday. I am both happy and worried. :-) and :-(

Happy because I love seeing this younger sister. Worried as there are 9 of them and treating them to a restaurant may burn a hole in my pocket.

Initially I was told that only her family of five would come. You know, giving a treat to a couple plus three small kids is within my budget.

But then while I was looking for some life insurance quotes last night, my sister beeped me and told me that my mom, her mother-in-law, brother-in-law and his daughter would tag along.

Gosh, additional 4 people! This will surely double the payment for dinner. Help, ouch!

Woohoo, hubby’s payday again! In half an hour’s time, I will go and withdraw his money to pay our AKPK debt repayments, car and home loan installments.

After that, go to the nearby pharmacy to buy a pack of corn caps and a bottle of contact lens solution.

Then, go do marketing at the wet market before heading home.

Wow, quite a lot of things to do this morning!

Take The $200 Or Borrow From Someone Else! April 20, 2010

I am fine with hubby lending money to his buddies so long as it’s a very small amount and his buddies are able to pay back.

A very small amount? I mean less than $200. Any amount that is more than that, sorry. Take the $200 or borrow from someone else.

You know how many bottles of best supplements and weight loss pills I have to sell in order to earn $200 commissions?

I don’t part with my money very easily now if compared to last time. Enough of buddies borrowing money without paying back a dime!

$300 In Cash April 20, 2010

Thank God that hubby was able to collect the $300 owed to him by a watch collector on Sunday. Ya, I forced him to go and collect back the money from that guy last Sunday rather than waiting for another week or two more weeks!

The watch collector should have paid hubby the total sum of money instead of half of it after he helped sell hubby’s watches a few weeks ago. He said he wanted to use it for a cash flow.

If that guy wasn’t able to return this sum of money last Sunday, it’s for sure that I would have to dig into my savings.
