Start Your Financial Plan Early To Avoid Medical Bills & Money Woes June 12, 2008

It’s a shock when I received the news that my uncle was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Terminal Stomach Cancer. It sounds serious but it can be cured.

My uncle is an optimistic man. Even though he suffers from cancer, he is still as happy as a lark. I am sure his optimism will make his fighting with cancer easier.

One lucky thing that he and his wife have done is that they are quite financially stable for the time being. They started planning for financial freedom years ago after reading some debt free books and tips.

Implementing financial plan early has helped my uncle and his family live more securely. He doesn’t have any credit card debts to worry about. On the contrary, he has enough insurance coverage and also education funds for her two daughters, so he can focus on fighting with cancer.

How I Lose Weight For Free May 12, 2008

I have gained some weight since I started blogging in April 2007. Eating too much and not doing enough exercise are the reasons why I have become fatter.

As I am still deeply in credit card debts, there is no way I can spend extra money on Orovo diet pills or supplements to lose weight. I have to look for free weight loss tips and exercise a bit in order to lose weight.

And changing eating habits is also important. Instead of eating 3 pieces of swiss rolls a day, I try to eat one. Slowly, I will make it every alternate day.

Do Your Workouts At Home April 13, 2008

I am not a big fan of working out on weight equipment but my hubby is. As he didn’t have time to spend at the gym everyday, he went shopping around for something simple.

After just one workout for him he could feel the burn. It was wonderful because it would usually take him two hours of cardio exercises just to get the feeling that he got working out for a half hour on the machine.

Setting up is easy because of the put together instructions. And there is a DVD showing you the workout routine. It doesn’t really take up much space and it doesn’t weigh a lot either.

If you’re in the mood for trying something new or can’t get the results you want spending hours at the gym, try it out.

How To Look Young While Working Hard To Pay Off Credit Cards April 12, 2008

Paying off credit card debts is a long journey. Hubby and I have been working long hours daily to pay off our debts.

We are so busy that we are always stressful. Stress causes our bodies to produce cortisol, a hormone that makes us age faster. Stress also weakens the immune system, making our skin susceptible to environmental stresses and pollutants.

I guess we look 5 years older now. If we don’t start using anti wrinkle cream, we may look 10 years older in a few months’ time.

After A Day’s Work, You Need A Good Sleep April 1, 2008

After a day’s work, hours of exercise and other tiring activities, you need rest. For sure, you want to relax those achy joints and tired muscles. You need nothing but a good sleep.

What is more relaxing is to lay your body on a soft and comfortable foam mattress. Unlike traditional inner-spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses provide unparalleled support and comfort.

By lying and sleeping on a foam mattress, you do not only rest your body but you rest your mind as well. It is nice to lie down, stretch out and fall into a deep peaceful sleep.

Stay Away From Unhealthy Grease & Fat, Use Microwave Bacon Cooker March 24, 2008

As I rapidly roar toward middle-age, I have not been paying as much attention to my diet as I should. Then on my birthday, my friend gave me a microwave bacon cooker.

It was one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. Besides removing unhealthy grease and fat from my bacon, it actually is neater and more convenient than using a frying pan.

But health, convenience and neatness be darned! The bacon tastes great! This is a great product.

What Do You Think Of Saline Breast Implants? March 20, 2008

Saline implants, which, as its name suggests, are filled with salt water instead of silicone. And unlike silicone breast implants, saline breast implants can be inserted empty into the body, then filled with saline according to what size breast the patient wants.

Saline implants have since become the most common implants used in the United States, partly because of the ban on silicone implants implemented by the FDA in 1992.

The ban stemmed from a study conducted by the FDA, where the government body determined that breast implants could possibly be linked to both breast cancer and connective tissue disease (CTD).

Earlier and subsequent studies also made claims that the silicone breast implants caused systemic health problems.

The FDA, however, lifted the ban on silicone breast implant ban in November 2006 after studies found they were safe.

I was told by a blogging buddy to check out Kava Kava products. Kava Kava is said to reduce stress and promote anxiety relief, muscle relaxation, sedation, and pain relief.

I also read that Kava Kava has been used as an anti-depressant, stress reliever and muscle relaxant by the United States and Europe.

It’s widely known that the effects of stress and anxiety can directly damage our health, causing weakened immunity, nervousness, indigestion, difficulty concentrating, sleeplessness, and fatigue. Therefore, fork out some spare time by hopping over to www.konakavafarm.com to find out more benefits of Kava Kava on your own.

Consult With Medical Supply Stores For The Right Stair Lift February 16, 2008

People with mobility problems consider stairs or steps enemy #1. If you are not living in a single story house, stairs can present a real problem. If you can walk but have difficulty climbing stairs, a stair lift may be the solution. Wheelchair users also would need a stair lift if they needed to get to the second story of their home.

Subtle differences among various models of stair lifts allow you to choose features to suit your specific needs. Most models are for indoors while some are for outdoors.

Stair lifts are not inexpensive, but they aren’t unaffordable either. Learn about them from a reputable dealer. Ask about the benefits of electric stair lifts and rechargeable stair lifts. Which is right for you?

No matter what mobility aid you are considering, ask for your doctor’s advice first and always consult with reputable medical supply stores for the right stair lift.
