You Can Cut Your Spending By 24% Monthly By Using Cash Only August 30, 2008

A couple took on the challenge of using only cash for one month (Yahoo ABC Video or ABC Printed Story). Though they lived with some inconveniences, they managed to cut their spending for the month by 24%. For them, that equaled $1,800.
I agree that it’s kind of very inconvenient at first. But after months of using cash only, you will love it. Yes, you will love using cash. I love using cash now.
As I only have cash with me, it makes me more careful when using my limited cash on hand. I will only spend money on groceries and the necessities.
No more unnecessary purchases on clothes, handbags, furniture, home decor, kitchen appliances, or plasma stand accessories.
Put Consistent Efforts In Paying Off Credit Card Debts August 30, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Debts / Credit Card Debts , add a commentWhile cleaning my credit card debt blog just now, I came across a post that I wrote in May 2007. It’s about why it’s important to read financial advice, matters, methods and so on and so forth to get out of debts.
After more than a year’s debt reduction, I would like to add one point here — Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
No doubt, reading is important to help you get out of debts. But there must be actions. If there are no consistent efforts in paying off your credit card debts and controlling your spending or expenses on groceries, english saddles, personal care products and, you will see your debts coming back slowly or sometimes fast.
From $41,331 To $40,344 Credit Card Debt August 28, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Credit Card Debt Updates , add a commentMy credit card debt dropped from $41,331 to $40,344 in early August, but I forgot to update it.
My goal is to pay down my credit card debt to $38,000 by the end of this year. I think this goal is attainable if I keep on earning enough money online while controlling expenses strictly.
I am grateful that my niche blogs and stores generate some commissions from selling baby gifts, cellulite shorts, pink iPods, cell phone amplifiers and lots of products.
No Credit Card Assignments August 28, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Family , add a commentI prayed for God’s miracle to heal my uncle, but there wasn’t any. My beloved uncle passed away on 19th of August 2008.
Hubby received my uncle’s death news while I was busy comparing sinks online on that day. My heart sank but there were no tears. Why didn’t I shed any tears? Perhaps I had already expected the worst.
Without delay, hubby and I bought two bus tickets and rushed to the city to attend my uncle’s funeral.
I was lucky that I didn’t have any credit card assignments to do on those few days.
Stop Recommending 0% Credit Cards, Balance Transfers Or Personal Loans August 28, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Credit Cards , 1 comment so farI started blogging about my credit card debt in April 2007. While blogging away my debt, I also shared with readers credit cards and credit card offers.
However, after months of reducing my credit card debt, I decided to stop recommending 0% credit cards, balance transfers or personal loans.
The reason is simple. I no longer use any credit card. I feel good using cash.
If you are deeply in credit card debt and truly want to reduce your credit card debt, stop using your credit cards for expensive baby clothes, start using cash and pay down your credit card debt diligently.
No More Installment Loan Offers From Banks August 28, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Loans , add a commentI got a call from one of the most prominent local banks this afternoon and was told if I would like to get an installment loan. Well, if it was before April 2007, I would grab the loan without much consideration.
No, I turned down the loan offer.
I have been paying down my credit card debts obediently since April 2007 and recently I applied for a debt management plan.
I am serious about paying off my remaining $40,000 credit card debts in 3 to 5 years’ time.
I have had enough acne pimples caused by stressful overdue credit card payments, non-stop calls and notices from banks and debt collection centres.
Increase Income Or Restructure Credit Card Debt Into One Repayment August 23, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Debt Management Plan , add a commentAre you having not enough money to pay off credit card debt? Well, I guess you can increase your income or restructure your credit card debt into one repayment.
In my case, I started with increasing my income first. A few weeks ago, I applied for a debt management program to restructure my credit card debt into one repayment. The application is still in progress.
As for my car loan and home mortgage installments, I am trying to request for lower monthly repayment or longer repayment period.
Finding mortgage quotes online is so easy. I have already checked out some mortgage quotes.

Put In More Time & Efforts On Affiliate Niche Blogs & Stores August 17, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Make Money , add a commentMy blogging pal and her hubby will turn full time internet marketers soon. They have had enough of their business that requires their full time and efforts.
I know her hubby is good at online option trading. Maybe this is one of the reasons they decided to turn full time internet marketers.
I am not good at statistics and numbers, therefore option trading is not my cup of tea for the time being. I had better put in more time and efforts on my affiliate niche blogs and stores.
Honestly, it’s not easy to build up affiliate niche blogs. I have to write articles myself. I know there is article wizard software that helps generate articles in a few minutes. Of course, I also know there are PLR articles that I can alter a bit and submit to article directories.
I don’t use any article wizard software or PLR articles simply because I have time to write my own articles. If I am very very busy, then I will consider buying them to save me time.
Besides managing my affiliate blogs and stores, I still have time writing micro sd product reviews. So there is no excuse for me to buy the article generating software.
Earn Cash Online To Pay Off Credit Card Debts Fast August 16, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Make Money , add a commentIt’s a relief that I no longer have $60,000 credit card debts. I have paid down my debts from $63,809 to $41,331.
I am looking for ways to earn more cash online to pay down the credit card debts to $38,000 in this year. Besides setting up more niche blogs and affiliate stores selling ellipticals, mortgages, credit cards, clothing, accessories and lots more, I am waiting for the approval of a debt management plan which requires 3 months to process the application. I pray and pray that God approves of my debt management plan application.
If it’s approved, my monthly credit card repayments will drop from more than $1,500 to only $310. The interest rate will be from the existing 18% to only 9%.
A Credit-Card-Debt Mama Prays For God’s Help August 9, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Family , 1 comment so farHubby and I just came back from the city. We went to visit my uncle who is fighting for his life in the hospital. Though the doctor says there is nothing he could do, every family member still has high hope that God is healing my uncle.
Seeing my uncle turning from a healthy man to a weak patient who needs Morphine injection 4 times a day makes every family member feel sad and helpless. We don’t know what else we can do. My uncle can’t eat solid food. He can only drink milk and water.
To make matters worse, he throws up a few times a day. Yesterday he started losing his voice. Dear God, I am praying that you give my uncle a miracle.
I really didn’t have mood to go shopping for some patio furniture covers when I was invited by my buddy this morning.
