Hate Parting With Money April 29, 2010

While doing a pronexin review just now, it struck on me that I could cut down on May’s expenses or groceries.
By reducing the spending on groceries or expenses, I don’t feel much pain after treating my sister and her family a dinner at a restaurant.
I have made some calculation on a meal at a restaurant and at a food court. Well, there isn’t much difference since food at food court doesn’t come cheap these days too.
Worst comes to worst, I will dig out some money from my savings account. Ouch, I hate parting with my savings!

Posted by Vedis in : Debts / Credit Card Debts , comments closedWith increasing gas prices and living cost, I wonder if shoppers still shop till they drop. Do you? Do you still shop till your drop? There is no way I can do it and I won’t even if I can.
I am proud that I have paid down my credit card debt from $63,809 to $41,331. Though there is still a long way to go …
As long as there is no extra credit card debt added to the existing $41,331, I have confidence that I can pay down to $38,000 or lesser.
How to pay down my credit card debt faster? Increase online income, cut down on expenses, hunt for cheap basement dehumidifiers or discounted home appliances, do budgeting for household money and the list goes on.
2 Simple Money Saving Tips May 15, 2007

There are 2 simple money saving tips that I would like to share with you.
Honestly speaking, I hate cooking ! However, I have to cook at home now in order to cut down the expenses.
We have already reduced the number of times we eat out at a restaurant. We used to have our dinners at foodstalls and restaurants every evening.
A dinner at foodstall usually costs us $15 on average ($15 x 30 days = $450). What about restaurant ?… $25 on average ! Can you imagine how much I can save now cooking at home ? It costs less than $10 for a dinner.
How could it be ? Well, I am a lazybone when it comes to cooking and doing housework. Therefore I resort to preparing quick and easy lunches and dinners. Fortunately, my hubby is not choosy and complaining.
Due to current PayPal issue among Malaysian bloggers, I have even had more time to search for various free recipes of fried rice and salad recipes especially seafood salads… mm…. yummy ! I can prepare different salad every day now.
We are quite health-conscious, thus getting only healthy recipe and articles is my first choice.
Another way of saving money is to use coupons when shopping for groceries. It looks paltry amount but it saves a lot in the long run.
Don’t take all my words. Keep a small record book for food and groceries, you will be amazed by the amount you save.
