Call Your AKPK Credit Counselor & Inform Him Of The Late Payment Charges October 31, 2009

Right after doing the usual online backup yesterday, I gave AKPK a call to inform them of the late payment fees imposed by certain banks.
Lately, some banks have started to charge late payment fees into my card accounts although I have been in the debt management program for one year.
If you have the same problem, you should give AKPK a call and let your credit counsellor take care of it.
See, banks are blood suckers. They will find ways to suck a bit money from here and there even if you are in the DMP.
I wonder if banks in other countries are like this?
Do What Your AKPK DMP Credit Counselor Says April 23, 2009
Posted by Vedis in : Debt Management Plan , comments closedHi,
I have to say thank you to you. Thanks to your blog, I am currently “on my way” to join the DMP.
Good to hear that you are on your way now.
I heard about AKPK before but just like anyone else who doesn’t know much about AKPK’s function, I just ignored it until I found your blog which totally changed my whole mind and even my miserable life of being so many debts surround me..!!
You know, before I applied to AKPK’s debt management program, I tried to find if any blogger was in this program. None.
All blogs and websites that I came across were introducing what AKPK stood for, when it was established and why you should enroll in the program.
It’s different now. You can find more and more bloggers who are really in AKPK DMP these days.
I have attended the taklimat session and had meet up the counsellor as well, and my husband too agreed to join the DMP since we are now terribly “drowned” in credit cards and personal loans debts!
Good that you hubby joined you. This means both of you will stop the bleeding together. Imagine if your loved one doesn’t want to get involved and he keeps adding new debt!
But one question, since I will only submit my application at the end of this month (I only need to pay around RM1k at the end of this month instead of RM6k per month), do I need to make any monthly repayment like I used to during my processing?
You mean you submit the application form and the repayment of $1,000 at one time? Oh, this is different from mine. Maybe AKPK has changed their policy a bit.
You see, when I submitted my application in August 2008, I was not asked to make any payment first. I only made the first payment in October when my application was approved.
If they accept your application and first payment at the same time, I feel that your application may be approved.
If you are not eligible, AKPK won’t even give out the application form.
As the consellor told me that starting from the day I submit my applications (which means at the end of this month) , I no need to pay my debts anymore.. is that so? Please comment. Thanks.
If your credit counselor said so, trust him. Once you submit your application form, I tell you, it’s like having a shield or talisman protecting you.
AKPK is on your side. No banks dare to do anything to you. They are not supposed to call you anymore! It’s true. So, it’s up to you – let the phones keep ringing or tell them that your application is under process.
There are mean banks that will threaten you that they will send third party collection agencies to collect the outstanding balance. No panic! Just tell them that you have already made your first payment to AKPK if you have done so.
After you have submitted your application form and first payment, you will still get a lot of phone calls from banks. Some think that you are gullible and threaten that you are at legal stage and you’d better make your payment or they will send you to court. Wuahaha…
Credit Card Debt & Debt Management Program Blogs April 9, 2009
Posted by Vedis in : Make Money , comments closedMy credit card debt blog is 2 years old now. I started this blog recording my credit card debt in April 2007.
Since I am now in a debt management program, there is nothing much I can talk about my credit card debt, except some updates here and there.
I have also set up a debt management program blog writing everything about debt management programs, the benefits of DMPs and how to choose a credit counseling agency for your debt management plan.
Of course, I have also had new blogs selling purple wedding gifts, Jungle Baby Shower stuffs and Tinkerbell bedding sets.
Never Ever Forget To Make Payment To DMP April 9, 2009

Oh, no! I am so forgetful! I totally forgot that I needed a laptop memory card.
I don’t think hubby will reverse his car and go back to the town to pick a memory card for me.
It’s my fault. I was too engrossed in complaining about banks.
Well, what to do? Get one from the nearby computer shop this evening.
Luckily, it’s only a memory card. If I forget to make payment to my debt management program (DMP), then I will be in trouble.
