While cleaning my credit card debt blog just now, I came across a post that I wrote in May 2007. It’s about why it’s important to read financial advice, matters, methods and so on and so forth to get out of debts.
After more than a year’s debt reduction, I would like to add one point here — Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
No doubt, reading is important to help you get out of debts. But there must be actions. If there are no consistent efforts in paying off your credit card debts and controlling your spending or expenses on groceries, english saddles, personal care products and, you will see your debts coming back slowly or sometimes fast.
Cash Advance Loans To Meet Expenses,Credit Card Payments Or Unexpected Expenses December 29, 2007
Posted by Vedis in : Loans , add a commentDoes this scenario sound familiar? You use credit cards to do your holiday shopping, promising yourself you’ll pay the debt off within two or three months. Unfortunately, you find that you have maxed out some of your credit cards even before year 2008 arrives.
You need some quick money these few days because you fall short of a few hundred dollars to meet the month’s expenses, credit card payments, home loan, car loan and other loan payments.
Here cash advance loan comes to your rescue and provide you with that required amount with minimum formalities and no hassles.
Cash advance loan is a small, short-term loan that a borrower uses to cover expenses until the next payday. The borrower writes a check to the lender for the amount of the loan plus fees and the lender deposits the check on the borrower’s next payday. Generally speaking, the minimum amount is $300 and the maximum amount is $1500.
The application of cash advance loan is fast and easily approved since there is no credit check and no documentation needed. When stuck in an emergency, you would not always be ready with document proof.
Once you’re approved for your cash advance loan, the cash advance loan will be deposited into your bank account. You receive money so fast and easily that you can have peace of mind as you may avoid all late payment fees or check bouncing fees.
Even with a bad credit record and very less money in your bank account, you can get cash loans easily these days.
Budget Home Ideas Or Decoration December 2, 2007
Posted by Vedis in : Budgeting , add a commentI am so excited to move to a new place in January. My family and buddies are baffled why hubby and I love moving so much. We seem to move away every 5 years…;P
This time we are moving to Tanjung Tualang which is situated at Batu Gajah. I think it is a very very small town though I have been there once. Tanjung Tualang is famous for seafood ! Crabs, prawns, lobsters….my mouth starts drooling now.
Hubby’s buddy will provide us a car, house and a cell phone. Well, the most important thing is that there is great prospect in palm oil plantations and rubber estates. Imagine hubby’s multiple incomes when one plantation or rubber estate is opened after another.
I can’t wait to see the house we are going to move into. I have so many home ideas for this house: setting up a home office for myself; equipping the bathrooms with bathroom vanities; furnishing the bedrooms with cozy cushions, rugs or recliners and the likes.
But of course, the expenses should be within our budget. Bear in mind that we are still loaded with $48,986 credit card debt.
5 Simple Money Tips April 21, 2007
Posted by Vedis in : Money Saving Tips , add a commentWe asked experts for their best cash control tips in areas that can easily get out of hand - and here are 5 simple money tips !
1. Pay Yourself First. Before you start spending your monthly salary, set aside money each month towards your savings, insurance and retirement plan. Also, set aside a sum equal to six months of your income for emergencies. This should be over and above your other savings.
2. Have a Budget. Budgeting can be the key to finding additional money to invest. To get a clearer picture of your expenses, keep a daily record for a couple of months and note down everything you spend. You’ll develop a better understanding of your entire financial picture and be able to identify specific areas where money seems to disappear.
3. Get Smart with Credit Cards. Although convenient and easily obtainable, a credit card can end up being a tool for financial disaster if not managed properly. It would be wise to limit the number of credit card which suits your lifestyle needs better. Alternatively, you can use debit cards which have the same convenience as credit cards - but you don’t end up with a debt.
4. Avoid the “Sale” Mentality. When you buy a $100 item on sale for $60, you don’t necessarily save $40. You spend $60.It is only good deal if you need the item in the first place.
5. Check Bills and Keep Receipts. Studies have shown that every fifth bill from supermarkets contains inaccuracies, on average. So check every bill you get, from your phone company, credit card company - you name it. Ask for proof if you don’t agree. Why pay for their mistakes ?
