Hubby and I have learned a very very expensive lesson from spending future money without control. Serve us right.
If you can’t control your spending habit, you had better cut off your credit cards. If not, you’ll be like us, burdened by tonnes of credit card debt. The credit card debt is enough for us to buy a small apartment!
I envy those of you who only use cash. Use cash to buy everything, from groceries to big tickets like furniture, electrical items or golf equipment.
You Can Cut Your Spending By 24% Monthly By Using Cash Only August 30, 2008
Posted by Vedis in : Cash , add a commentA couple took on the challenge of using only cash for one month (Yahoo ABC Video or ABC Printed Story). Though they lived with some inconveniences, they managed to cut their spending for the month by 24%. For them, that equaled $1,800.
I agree that it’s kind of very inconvenient at first. But after months of using cash only, you will love it. Yes, you will love using cash. I love using cash now.
As I only have cash with me, it makes me more careful when using my limited cash on hand. I will only spend money on groceries and the necessities.
No more unnecessary purchases on clothes, handbags, furniture, home decor, kitchen appliances, or plasma stand accessories.
