Actually I am happy to do marketing at the wet market every morning. It takes me 15 minutes to walk there and another 15 minutes to walk home.

Walking seems to be my quick weight loss way! Since moving here and starting walking to and fro from the market almost 5 times a week, I notice a slight weight loss.

I can squeeze into my smaller sized short pants and jeans now.

So, doing marketing not only saves me money, but also helps me lose weight. Great!

You know, the last time I enjoyed a meal at KFC was more than a year ago. Yesterday was the first time I had my meal at KFC since my debt management program.

It’s not because I was so poor that I couldn’t afford it. No. It’s just that I would rather eat something even cheaper than KFC to save money.

Now that I am seeing some spare cash in my savings account, I think I should take it easier when it comes to having a more expensive meal.

This is financial experts’ advice – save money, save more money.

No matter how small the amount of money is, save it. If you can live without a tankless water heater for a few more months, then wait. Save the money that is supposed to be used to buy the heater.

With record-high unemployment rates, the mortgage crisis and rising costs for food and health care, you are advised to put away more money.

With more money available in hand, you can pull through and survive this bad economy.

Do you always hear that if we pay off our credit card balance every month and only spend what we can afford to spend , we can avoid interest expenses and finance charges? It’s like getting an interest-free loan. Isn’t that a great way to save money?

However, how many of us can actually do this? According to studies, many people with credit cards pay just the minimum amount every month, and roll over the rest to pay the following. Then next month, we roll the charge over yet again. That means we pay interest on our loan, every month. Plus,we pay interest on the interest we owe !

Isn’t there a way in which we can save money on our credit cards? Fortunately, there is. You can look for low interest credit cards offering 0% Interest or APR for up to 12 months on all purchases and balance transfers.

The length of your introductory period will be either 12 months for purchases and balance transfers or 3 months for balance transfers only, depending on the review of your application and credit history.

Remember though, the BEST way to save money is to pay off your cards monthly. But for the rest of us who carry a balance, getting a low interest credit card or a credit card with a low introductory rate is one way to save you money in interest expenses.
